A photo shoot is a crucial moment for a brand, it is an opportunity to highlight its products and its universe. At Loumio we carried out our first shooting in Corsica with the talented photographer Delphine Jouandeau and our adorable models. We took advantage of the school holidays to organize the shooting which took place with joy and laughter. We chose Le Rocher, a wild place by the sea where the children played with their feet in the water in their swimsuits and Loumio anti-UV tops. If, like us, you are the creator of a fashion brand or simply want to know more about how a photo shoot works, here are some tips to ensure your photo shoot goes off without a hitch and gives you the results you expect:

  1. Choose your photographer wisely: The key to a successful shoot lies in the choice of photographer. Look for someone who understands your brand and your vision, with whom you get along well and who will enhance your products in the style that suits you. Good communication with your photographer is essential to getting the images you need.
  2. Plan ahead: Before the big day, make a list of the must-have photos you want to get. This can include images of the products from different angles, atmospheric photos, as well as specific formats for your website and social media. Careful planning ensures that you won't miss anything important during the shoot.
  3. Organize the process of the shooting: Develop a detailed schedule for the passage of models and the implementation of the different looks. Prepare all clothing and accessories in advance to save time on the day of the shoot and avoid delays.
  4. Bring the necessary equipment: Make sure you have all the necessary equipment at the shooting location, including an iron for wrinkled clothes, safety pins for possible adjustments, and moisturizer for skin dry.
  5. Think about the comfort of the participants: Finally, don't forget to plan regular breaks and provide food and drinks for the whole team. A comfortable and relaxed environment will contribute to more successful results and a positive atmosphere throughout the shoot.
  6. Allow time for selection and edits: After the shoot, allow enough time to review the photos with your photographer and discuss possible edits. This step is crucial to ensure you get the final images that meet your expectations.

By following these tips, you are sure to put all the chances on your side for a memorable and successful photo shoot!
